The two best fighting games ever (in my personal opinion) in one package. What's not to love. Also tekken 6 and street fighter 4 = not a retarded button mash fest like the marvel vs capcom games.
I dunno, last mk I played was armageddon which was fun but still meh. A new one more in the vein of the old ones would be cool. Tekken is by far my favorite fighting game ever though.
Tekken is fucking weird to me. Way fun, but strange in that it's the only fighting game I know of that top players prefer gamepads over fightsticks, WEIEIIRIID. They even have PS2/3 controller jacks on the arcade machines, the fuuu.
I'm not hating on MVC2 and 3 at all. It's only a button masher until you go up against someone that rips at it, than your just fucked completely in the but at maximum speed.

I'm a big fan of fighting games in general and have played at least one version of all the big name games of the genre (SF, MVC, MK, Tekken, Soulcalibur, DOA, Virtua Fighter, etc.)
I consider MVC2 one of my fave games of all time (not just fighting, but any game) because it took the fighting game to the next level in speed and intensity, and I love being able to switch fighters in mid-fight, and I see MVC3 as a continuation of that with better graphics

Agreed that tekken 3 was an abomination and to a new player so is Eddie/Christie.
I dunno about Tekken 3, but in Tekken tag & Tekken 4, Christie & Eddie definitely seem cheap to someone who isn't a real player, but to someone who know's how to really play Tekken, they're not really any better than anyone else. You just have to know how to work it. While it's easy to string a bunch of their moves together by mashing the kick buttons, it's also really easy for someone playing against them to see their highly telegraphed moves, and to know how to counter.
