joshhatesyou pointed me towards this interface. So far, I'm impressed as fuck, if for no other reason than that (with almost zero work and an overhead mic doing a close mic's job, through a Marshall practice amp and no effects) I was able to get a fairly ferocious tone just going dry. Everybody JOs all over the preamps on this unit, now I can see why.

Backed. Not just cause I told Josh to buy it either. Preamps/conversion like that for 200 bucks is a no-brainer, thing sounds mint.

i been using it along with a pair of sm 57's just to track band practice in pawtucket, providence and uxbridge. all the tracking for valley of algae minus the drums was done on this thing too.

I use focusrite for home recording after the preamps were recommended highly by other sound recording pros, definitely pleased with my UNIT
