I see what you mean about the jackets. they should have fashioned a hung from from the snowboard bindings and slid down the rope hanging from the bindings of a snow board.

That was exactly what I was thinking when I saw the poster. that and locking the bindings from the snowboards together. The chair is like 60 feet up and the most the could get out of the coats and the snowboard bindings would probably be like 10-15 feet. that would still leave them jumping from 45'+. seeing as you have a 50/50 shot of dying if you fall from 20', that guy would still have been fucked up, but hopefully not as bad.
