i am a computer moron and i just happened to open up a wallpaper thing on another site which opened a temporary file like my windows pic viewer like when i open my pictures and i clicked back to see if their was anything else and there where hundreds of pics from your site and others
my question is are these all stored on my computer wasting space everytime i open a picture link or do i just suck?? and if it does waste memory or what not how can i make it not store them?
this is a concept called "caching"
it's not really "wasting" space on your computer. what it's doing is (theoretically) making is the next time you go to a site faster cause you don't have to download all the pictures that haven't changed.
if you want to decrease the amount of stuff it stores in here
tools>internet options-> under temporary files click "settings"
then set the # of mb to 10mb or something like that.
I have it set to 191MB
sorry. i hate myself now and i sure the rev does too cause i wasted 4.5 seconds of his life
