so last night I saw Every Time I Die at the new The Met in Pawtucket.

good news: this venue is awesome. it's essentially like having The Living Room back only it's nice and clean and doesn't smell like piss so much. the stage is small and the venue is a perfect size. also they weren't dicks about moshing or dives.

but yea, point is this venue rocks and I hope they get many more metal/hardcore shows in the future.

has anyone else seen a show here yet? thoughts?

I was there last night too, and was shocked by the new venue. I was expecting something more in lines with the old Met, but this place is awesome. Liked the old met. Love the new met.

The inside walls have the rock murals that were outside the old Met as well.

I was there last night. I really like the place and im glad there is another
"real" venue in providence but ending at 11pm is gay gay gay.

Its not really like the living room at all because it is clean. It has no carpet,
i didn't go in the restroom but im going to make an assumption there is no
5ft sink to piss in and the stalls work, the beer was good and the sound was
awesome. So, its nothing like the living room.

Do all shows there end at 11? It looks like most don't even start until 9.

Only Living Room piss stench is real. Ask Lester about peeing in a garbage can because he didn't want to miss any of There Were Wires set. Class.

i remember playing the living room when it was below 30 degrees inside with the heater broken. good times.
