Who else will be going? I'm wondering if this show is going to sell out? I guess I should order my tix. Only interested in seeing Sui, DRI, and Cro-Mags and it seems like its going to be a packed house, might get violent... just wondering how many people this place can hold.

If this sells out... It will probably be day of. I dont think it will sell out though
Suicidal Tendencies has sucked for the last 20 years, DRI sucked at MDF, and the other bands on the show pretty much guarantee that this show will be full of douchebag jocks in basketball jerseys, so I'm not going.

Cro-Mags and Underdog. Fuck yes.not expecting too much from Suicidal or DRI, so it'll be gravy if they don't suck. There.

I still would love to see ST and DRI just because I haven't seen them many years but the rest of these bands I suspect will draw some fools...

I'm a n00b who's going to New London that night anyway so don't listen to cranky ol' me, have fun guys.
Already got my ticket or I'd hit you up. I'll check with some other friends who might be coming up with us, though. Do you know who else is playing? Would be phat if COA, The Carrier or Shipwreck were amongst those locals.

Dead Ellington, Lifeloss, Los Bungalitos, Revenge, Shoot To Kill are the locals.
You feeble Ugandan colon cannot support 3 lbs of tofu, Pepelwuss. What gives? You tryin to impress Bloodclot? I'll cut you while chanting the Holy Names of Krsna, buttdart!
Los bungolitos were excellent. It is like an updated agnostic front sound.
Death before dishonor sounded awesome right up at the stage, but the pit was too open so as you stepped back from the stage, they got echoy. It was still great to see them. I miss brockton shows.
Shoot to kill had the biggest reaction upstairs. There was even a couple fights. The palladium bouncers are both huge and football players. That worked out well for them during the fights.
Set times Im in the party bus with keith bennet, opie, jimmy flynn, We have two kegs haha.
If you know who was putting "Friends Of Labor" stickers on other people's cars at the southie Sound Museum (mine included), slip him/her in the dick for me.

round yellow stickers?
Matt Shnabel hahhaa

Yeah, yellow and blue. It's one thing to put a sticker on a street sign or some shit but not on someone's car. Fuck that.

Except when it's a Composted sticker, then it's hilarious

man, was this show crowded! I have to admit I am surprised (and pleased) that Suicidal are still this huge of a draw. I totally fucked up and don't even know how I did it - I wasn't even the least bit stoned or buzzed - but I drove past the exit on the pike on the way out there from Boston and ended up driving an extra hour total by the time I realized and got off and turned around and back to Worcester ... point of the cool story bro is that I missed Underdog AND DRI! WTF!
Considering that I saw Cro-Mags like 3 months ago at the ME with better sound and crowd, I'm glad that my tix for this show were free ... not that it matters, cause Suicidal were totally awesome and worth the trip alone. I think my highlight as far as what they played was "Subliminal" ... I really wanted "Suicide's an Alternative" but you take what you can get with these things. At least they sounded great (for the Palladium) and Mike Muir is still one of the best frontmen in hardcore ever.

Nobody seemed to care that Death Before Dishonor was on. It sucked. But they still killed it. REVENGE was fucking insane. They need to play more shows in Providence!
post by bloblovesmusic at Nov 14,2010 5:43pm
I only caught like two songs of DBD but the sound was so echoey that I wasn't sure what they were supposed to sound like.

underdog got a shittier response than dbd. a bunch of thrash kids went down because they still thought dri was going on second, and it was pretty priceless watching them have literally no reaction to underdog. i guess by the end of the set they'd won some people over but overall i think they got the most lukewarm reaction of the night.
Underdog did have a lukewarm response at first, but they were different than the other bands that were on the bill so it took some time for people to warm up to them. I thought they were fucking awesome.

Did anyone else notice the oddball patchouli incense in the middle part of the downstairs. I mean, yeah, I guess the Palladium could and does smell a lot worse (like the smoke/gas chambers known as the bathrooms), but I wasn't expecting the incense.
