They do have you sell tickets, but last I knew there was no minimum so it's not bad at all.

Yeah, if there's a minimum that's when you can count me out. I'm not spending a dime to play a show because I sold a few too many tickets. I'm sure you can get by without those $30 (not directed at ANYONE).

its not pay to play. dysentery is playing the first of these shows this saturday. we were given tickets to sell, but no 'goals' were set for sales by the promoter/venue.

this is really a good idea, I know it's not a big deal, but it would make me so happy to play upstairs at the Palladium. I've just seen so many of my favorite bands play in that room, it'd be like a dream come true.

agreed, love this venue, and the sound is way better than downstairs, shows are always much more fun when they do it upstairs anyway
