Making this thread so there doesn't have to be a new one every time there's another event. Post your picks for the night, news you find, etc. I'm just doing this because I know I'm not the only UFC fan in this forum.

Anyway, my picks for tonight (UFC 119) are:

Crop-Cop (if he can keep it standing up)
Bader (although I want Nogueira to win)
Serra
Sherk
Stephens

I haven't really seen any of the guys in the prelims fight so I couldn't really tell you what my picks for them would be.

This card is really weak. That being said, I agree with your picks, minus Lil Nog. I think he'll get the victory(that's also me being biased. I LOVED Pride FC, so we'll see what happens)

The next card isn't much better. main event is Bisping vs. Akiyama. The next good card we have to look forward to is Lesnar vs. Velasquez at 121.

Also, just read that Tito Ortiz is coming back for 121. Is that guy ever just gonna give up?

Oh and do you think it's only a matter of time before we see a strikeforce vs. UFC ppv? I'd love to see overeem go against some of the UFC heavyweights. As well as the obvious lesnar vs. fedor matchup everyone has been clamoring about for years.

Fedor will never fight for the UFC partially because of his clash with Dana, partially because of his contract with showtime. All of the strikeforce contracts will still be honored, but there's still no real idea of what's gonna happen to SF fighters like Daley, Diaz, Hendo, etc. that are no longer with the UFC, especially since Daley was banned for life. But I would definitely love to see fights like Werdum vs. Junior Dos Santos, Overeem vs. Velasquez, and shit like that. It all depends on what happens when the strikeforce contracts expire and what Zuffa wants to do from there.

The only Brit fighter I actually like is Ross Pearson. Other than that, I hate the rest of them. I hate most of the Cesar Gracie crew, Nick is the only one I like. Shields and Nate Diaz are both retarded.

Oh and the only problem with Melendez smashing Edgar is that there's already like 4 people in line for a title shot at 155 in the UFC. We have the Edgar/Maynard rematch, then the winner of Guida/Pettis gets a title shot, and then Jim Miller gets a title shot.
