he ran away some time around 2pm. I was on the hunt from 3:35 until 10:50

well, i ran from 3:35 to 6:20 in flipflops through the woods and all through the streets. Patton and I tracked something from where he was last seen into the woods, but when we finally got to a mud hole, we saw that it was a deer we were t...racking. after running up and down elwym a couple times and harding (he was last seen on harding) a couple times... I starting down Land and Sagamore going down all the roads along side it. then a couple more times up and down harding... thenI got the most powerful flashlight at walmart. I drove to the dog park and pierce island then stopped at home.. then drove down all the back roads on the other side of the lafeyette. all around ocean drive. then went back down lang and back down sagamore though all the side streets. it was 10:45 at this point and I decided to creep up harding one last time before 11pm when I couldn't yell anymore. when I got to where he was last seen on harding, I saw some kids with flash lights. well, they were in their 20's. they said they just saw him 2 minutes ago. then I called and he came like a bolt out of this yard right to patton. but had no clue hwho I was. not until I picked him up.
he's cleaned up now and just racing around my house.

Poor you...can you tell your dog to tell my cat I can't give away to run away? That'd be awesome.

I have done this many times, it sucks. We got the invisible fence and don't have that problem anymore.

I have 2 cats.
Also they have collars for the electoric fence, but I guess his was off for two minutes.

That sucks. I don't even have to put the collars on anymore - they caught a couple of burns and won't even follow me over the line unless I have them on lead.
