how is hurriccan formed?

toggletoggle post by Corpus_Kaprilian at Aug 31,2010 8:10am
Good eeeeeveneing..

Danielle has a track going east of NE and hanging outside of the canadian maritimes.Earl has the potential to be a landfall--projected to move west of bermuda towards us.

Fiona- is right behind earl, but its to early to say to much.

A rare but possible outcome, since Danielle has stalled somewhat, is that Earl and Danielle join and dance it up a bit--called the 'Fujiwhara' effect.

If you look at tropical models flowing from the NW coast of africa, its like a hit parade that goes on and on..

Stay tuned!

I'm all set with having my house or vehicle destroyed by a hurricane. I like electricity and running water. I like being able to do whatever the fuck I want to do. Did you see the people down in NOLA after Katrina? Yea, that looked like a blast. I'm not saying Earl or any other hurricane would be as br00tal, but why would you wish for something that can destroy everything you own to come on land and totally butt rape you?

toggletoggle post by BlackoutRick at Aug 31,2010 9:46am
Which stands for the Nino.

Because I am untouchable. Well unless I want a whore to touch my junk.

BTW, Katrina was only that bad because it knew there were mostly black people there and Bush made it so.

I see your point. Carry on hurricane!

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Sep 1,2010 7:35am
this is just the beginning of hurricane season

I'm sure something will hit us. Cells be populatin' and coagulatin' in the Atlantic, ya herd?

toggletoggle post by Corpus_Kaprilian at Sep 1,2010 7:44am
This is not the begining of hurricane "season," this is just typically the most active time of season B. I think it technically starts sometime in june and lasts until the first week of Nov. If any of you guys are interested in tracking some of these storms (and there are many more on the way) NOAA has great predictive models, as does accuweather and so on. Florida state has an amazing hurricane model as well, but I aint sharing.

Don't bother listening to weather people pitch weather "stories." Just check the data and assimilate.

Looks like they're saying it'll be 30 miles of the coast of Nantucket. 100mph winds down on the Cape and South Eastern MA.
Can't wait.

"Earl may not be a hurricane when it reaches Mass."

http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_...news/2010/09/forecasters_pre_8.html

As usual, meteorologists blew their load prematurely. And here I was really hoping to punch off flying lawn gnomes in 100mph winds while listening to godsmack.

It's still going to pack a wallop down where I live. I forgot to shut my windows this morning. Oh well

I see. yeah, winds have picked up but Earl is turning out to be a gaywad. Then again they keep moving the heavy winds and rain up as Earl slows down a little. I heard the main part of the storm is around 2am to Rape the Cape.
