Star Wars is better

In general or movie to movie?
The Wraith of Kahn is awesome, definately better then the Return of the Jedi and the 2 new star wars.

i like star wars so much better in general, but the new star war films are pretty shitty so i'll give star trek better credit for that, but no one can beat star wars in the sci fi realm! oh crap my dork in leaking out

I dont think I could ever sit through an enitre episode - nevermind movie of star trek... fuck all that shit old star wars owns

It is tough to compare the two in a way, as star trek was a long running series of series, complete with movies. Alot of the episodes were dumb, more just fillers. But the best Star Trek ideas are awesome, particularly the Borg.

Most Star Wars ideas were just things from our real past pieced together and placed into a sci-fi setting, though done very well with the exception of ewoks, which make me mad.

The Empire Strikes Back absolutely destroys the Wrath of Kahn and any other star trek movie. I hate all star trek post next generation. Deep space nine was GAY. Voyager was WICKED GAY. The first 3 star wars were amazing, and i even enjoyed the two new ones, but theres something lacking in the new ones.

Deep Space Nine wasn't so bad, I think it was more of a trekky show, getting into alot of the other cultures and politics.
Of course being a weekly show for a few years, it was easier for them to do such things then in Star Wars.

The Return of the Jedi wasn't that great, Attack of the Clones was better.

Star wars Episode 3 would rule if it had Ricardo Montalban in it.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at May 5,2004 4:04pm
The real question is, did star trek ever have characters as stupid as the ewoks?

toggletoggle post by morkul  at May 5,2004 5:10pm
They had that episode with those creatures that looked like furballs, and that was pretty gay. Wrath of Khan smokes any Star Wars and I saw those in the theatres growing up. "Damn you Kirk". I will have my revenge.
