Our Boston-based band(no name yet) needs a stickman! No big requirements but you must...
-Be 18+
-Have some idea of what you're doing, obviously
-Have interest in Thrash, Melodic/Technical Death, Prog, etc.
-Be able to play at varying speeds. Blasting is not a requirement, but good to keep in mind
-Have a loose/mostly empty schedule(if you have a family or an all-day job, this might not be for you)
-Be willing to bash and comment on society/religion lyrically. Not super anti-christ or anarchist, but a mild dose of dissent will do.

Ah thanks Nekro. We're influenced by BtBaM, Lamb Of God, The Faceless, Necrophagist, The Red Chord, Children Of Bodom(and all their ilk), the major thrash bands of course, Dying Fetus, Judas Priest, etc. etc. So basically influence stew, but if you're a fan of the drumming style of any of those bands or any similar, then you're our target demographic.

Similar influences to mine. It's strange with those influences that you don't want blasting. But i sort-of understand why, if you don't REQUIRE blasting, then you'll have a lot more people trying out. |

To elaborate on this statement: a lot of drummer who claim that they "won't" blast, are in effect saying "I can't blast, and therefore I'm going to act like i don't want to anyways."
Now i don't think that songs NEED blasts to sound good, or that drummers that don't blast suck, it's more that in the type of music you described there inevitably will be parts that BEG for a blast over them. |

Blasting isn't a want nor need atm, it's a possibility. Hell we don't have a name or logo yet(juggling The Genovese and Gentrify Or Die atm) We don't REQUIRE, but it's good for a backup.
Those are a few logo ideas I've come up with, there's tons more but these are among the best. |

None at all. Myself and Zach have yet to actually meet up seeing as he's coming back to Boston September 6th. As far as demo stuff is concerned, look up our influences and see if that tells you about how we'd like to sound XD |

The upside-down cross on the last one? What do you suggest I replace it with? That's all I had going for that one.  Or if you're talking about the first one then I could do that since I was kindasorta ripping off Devian but I'm sure they wouldn't mind. |

you should start a Crusades themed band. Write songs about killing in the name of Christ. that should piss some people off. |

That certainly is a possibility, yes. I've got a bunch of song ideas written in my phone's notepad, and they're all set to rail against society's imperfections. Zach's written up quite a bit of stuff, so we're itching to go right now. You wouldn't happen to know any drummers needing work would you? |
