I'm going to the Bank Of America Pavilion in a couple weeks and was wondering the best way to get there, as I've never gone. I usually drive to Lechmere and take the Subway from there for just about everywhere but was wondering if there was a subway stop within distance of the venue. Thanks.

I've missed so many shows here that I wanted to see and finally bought some damn tickets, haha. Pretty excited, but need to know how to get there.

There's a T stop on the Silver Line that's close to it....Silver Line Way, I believe.

I always just drive earlier to the venue and drive around til I find a street spot. just watch that you don't get sucked into the tunnels.

BTW, the venue is amazing.

South station, Silver line to world trade center.

Or, south station, cross the bridge, walk a block south and stop at the barking crab for a few beers.

It's next to the harpoon brewery and world trade center. it's across from the seaport hotel, which has parking if you're driving. Theres an open lot a few blocks closer to the city on the same road that's cheaper (11 bucks a day).

The venue really shines when you have VIP passes. The VIP people have their own bar, waterfront patio, and free appetizers.

How big is this place?

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Aug 9,2010 11:58am
Pretty big. About as big as greatwoods minus the lawn seats. security is a little tight. watch for the stairs.. I drunkenly fell down the stairs there when poison played a years ago

Haha! I'm quite excited for this - always great to check out new venues, especially when they're spoken of so highly.

the sound there is the best part. It's one of the best venues for sound. Plus, the architecture there is cool.

definitely my favorite of the large venues. I wish they had more metal shows, but still like what they get!
