I was pretty close to the front too, I could see Mustaine's eyes! It was awesome!

im there. celebratin' my 15th Slayer show. only skipped one in 13 years. i treat every one as if it could be the last.

Got the "$8" tickets ($20, which still isn't bad obviously) - Megadeth/Testament are good live and pretty excited to see Slayer once. Overall I was more excited for this when it was supposed to happen in February but it should still be great.

The GA people weren't let in until after testament was starteed. The place was practically empty for testament. Also, the sound for testament was NOTHING but vocals. I was in there for the first 3 songs and then had to leave during practice what you preach. Practice what you accapella!

After the 5th song, they found the down knob on the vocals. Mucbh better now.

slayer's sort of predictable. I think megadeth's set is so much more dynamic. But slayer's most the same each and every time you see them. Still they are the kings of metal for a reason. Some of the best songs, but I would love them to play different songs right at the beginning (since I only get 3 songs). I did sit in the back of the arena and watch a couple songs. They also paused between EVERY SINGLE song. Never noticed that before. Did anyone away from the stage hear kerry king's chains? that's all I could hear up at the stage. Even when he was 1/2 way across the stage.

So . . . I'm working retarded tax free day in my store yesterday when a big ass tour bus pulls up blocking half of our lot. I don't pay any mind to it and continue my retail suffering. And then there he is, Kerry King shopping for Macbook accessories in my store. Then some tall dude comes up to me and needs help with his laptop. I hook him up with Geek Squad. He ends up being Slayer's tour manager and he gave me 4 tickets to the show! Tax Free Day may be alright.

Sick show too. Bummed that this is now the second time I misses Testament this year. What did they play?

I couldn't believe how many people around me said it was their first time seeing Slayer then sat through their entire set. HOW DO YOU SIT DURING RAINING BLOOD! Gay.

i tried that myself but ended up getting into several drunken arguments with different employees on the floor. i then proceeded to leave the venue and sneak back in through the backstage area. got to see most of slayer from my own luxury box area next to the stage until 6 or so angry security people had me swiftly removed. tgsongas arena fails hard at metal shows.

Floor seats were so worth it. I'm surprised it wasn't GA all around. Usually tsongas shows are always GA. Unless it's been that long since i've been there.

Pretty cool to see Ellefson brought back into the fold. Had no idea of his return until they went on.

so sore today...my neck is pissed at me. I took off my sweaty Coroner shirt at some bar after the show and it dissapeared... :(...this was the best show ive been to in a long time...we took over a section and absolutely distroyed it.

yeah i wish we had hooked up. When we got there we ended up getting pickled at some party bus full of boston folk. It was a legit Crystal Transport bus...pretty rad.

Floorsneak was a deviously unplanned drunken success... Headbanged the entire Slayer set... One of my favorite times seeing them.

Yes I was on the bus...about 20 of us...the ride down was great....when we got back after the show the battery was dead or something along those lines and it wouldn't turn over...took 2 hours to get another bus there and the tow people to try and fix it. The Stadium people were pretty annoyed and kept coming back to try and kick us out...everyone was just a drunken wreck by the time we left as there was nothing else left to do but wait and drink. Was worth the money to do it though, 100%. Think I was drunk 3 separate times.
