Ok, I have been trying my best to get the guys in Dissector a show at Jarrods Opening for D.R.I. and i know how everyone here pretty much hates jarrods place and everything BUT in order for them to be able to play jarrod wants them to place a show on may 13, 30, or june 3rd. and im guessing its because he wants to make sure that they can bring in at few heads to the show. So how many people would help out these guys by coming to see them play at one of those dates??

Joe, did you try to get DRI to play like the next day or the day after their Jarrod's gig? Or are they booked the whole tour?
I know there are other way better clubs to play in but this is the only one DRI is playing in.

It was going to be at the middle east downstairs, on a different day, but much to close together for the ME to still be interested.

That sucks. If it was at the middle east nobody would go to the Jarrods though.

Their booking agent is a scum bag, it's cool that you guys are on it and if I can get a ride I will buy a ticket from you, but he shouldn't have booked the Jarrod's show when they already had an eastern MA date.
Basically we worked everything out on the phone and I was waiting for the contract, and then the jarrods gig popped up without him even telling me, then he stopped replying to my emails when I tried to figure out what happened.

We're not on the DRI show yet. If we bring enough people May 30th then we're in.

May 30th, Teratism, Ascendancy, Spider Gates and Abhorred at The Chopping Block, sucks that you'll have to try to split with some of that crowd. Damn Jarrod's.

Jarrod will probably let you on the DRI show if he knows you can sell tickets.
He only cares about the short term dollar which is why his club is doomed to fail.

jarrods is the worst club ever but he does get some good bands to play there once and awhile so he has to be doing something right, and making sure the bands are treated well isn't one of them. i remember the first time i played there we where the last band to play on a thursday night and after we played they kicked everyone out and didn't give us a minute to sit down and get a drink or take a piss we had to get our shit out and leave then

We've played there numerous times, unfortunatley. Its actually a nice venue, with a good sound system, its just run by morons and cokedealers.
