I saw the preview for this before Inception.
Boston based cop drama directed by Ben Affleck that doesn't look half bad.

Affleck interviewed my cousin who's locked up for robbing an armored car when he was writing the script, left a few hundred bucks in his comissary. I guess that makes up for Reindeer Games.

He flew down to Schuylkill to interview an uncle of mine who told him to go fuck himself.

not an instant classic, but a decent flick all around.

I thought it was pretty good, really weird to see the projects where I grew up in a movie.

Really wasn't feelin this movie at all. The acting wasn't all that bad but such a boring, non-believable story

Why do movies have to be believeable? That's the whole point of a movie!

They don't have to be. I'm onto really out there, trip-tastic movies. Suspension of disbelief, I know. A movie in this context needs to have some sense of believability for me though.

It would seem so. When I was in Dublin, they kept asking if we were from Boston or New York. I politely informed them that I don't speak like guinea trash and I pronounce my "R's" - I'm from Connecticut, thank you.
