We won't be playing our new more legitimate "grind" material, but it will still be a good time.

deathamphetamine just played.. I remember when they all had long hair. Now they have basically all shaved heads and suits? death to corporate rock. Their drummer is seriously good. Fast and tight playing.
intheshit's set is like gone in 60 seconds. Its over quick. Sounded much better in this place than at the cavernous elks lodge. Plus, lamp danced for them.

rampant decays set was going so well until the video keno game almost got knocked over. From what I saw, im assuming that hivesmasher is never going to be allowed back here again. Just a prediction.

living void had the biggest crowd yet. This is also elliots first show with the band. He fell in love with the band. He had a drop down good time. I heard he tripped into this gig with them. Anyhow, the new stuff sounded really good.
I didn't really appreciate being nearly grabbed by the neck for something that happened while I was standing on the other side of the room but at least the guy sort of apologized to me for it.

It seemed like everyone had a good time. Some guy snuck in, then called me an asshole when I said that he needs to pay the cover, and that if I "didn't suck at doing my job" then he would have paid at the door. I blamed the fall of the Deer Hunter arcade game on him and kicked him out. Hivesmasher is always welcome!
As far as the guy who tried to stop everybody from moving around, while Hive Smasher was playing (or starting to play), he did come up to me and say "You know what, you guys can move around if you want, just make sure you don't break anything" so I guess he did calm down somewhat over the course of the night. All I know is between that and the near neck grabbing of me, all I really had to say was "okay". So I'm not pissed or anything. This show was great.
Deathamphetamine - holy shit these guys can rock and roll. And they dress snazzy to match!
Intheshit - a band comprised with three of the most prominent rttp members? Playing grind? Playing GOOD short songed pissed off grind?oh, you betcha head's banging.
Rampant Decay - maximum beers, fun totality. Faster louder hadcore/punk with bizzarro-RTS monologues between songs ;)
Living Void - at this point my alcohol intake level was at an all time high so most of the set my jaw was on the floor watching their drummer. Most intense(and spot on) playing I've seen from ANY band. Then Elliot fell over. This was their night and they sounded great!

This was the most fun I've had playing a show in forever. ALl the bands were a fucking blast. Thanks to everyone for turning the retarded up to 11 for our set.
About the Lamp/xGodzillax comment. I think I'm funny most of the time and would get a chuckle out of the crowd. I suppose that was not the case since I'm pretty sure I heard crickets chirping haha

It's all good. I knew you meant me. I checked out the profile for dead by dawn and I do believe they listed Switchfoot on there. Obviously, I had to distance myself as far as possible from that.
