agreed. I cant help but admit their instrumental prowess though. Very technical stuff and the DRUMS and vocals being the weak links. Portnoy (is that his name?) is still very good but the guitar and bass are brilliant technically. Oh yeah keys aint bad either.

No doubt they are all virtuosos, which I admire. But I cant get into that stuff that much after a few songs. Same thing with symphony x and all those bands. I've gotten in my arguments with one of my good friends over this

yeah this band does nothing for me, but the Palladium? they are far too good to be dumbed down at that dump.

They've played the Palladium before too and it was REALLY good. It was actually DEAD that night, plenty of room to just walk around the Palladium floor... so it was probably the best time i've ever seen 'em.

I want to go. I've been a fan of them for quite some time (don't worry, I'm not one of those "OMGS THEY'RE SO PROGRESSIVE BLAH BLAH I'M FROM BERKLEE" fans. hehe).

However, the price for is a little steep for my tastes. (might have to pull my resources on this one hehe)
