Oh and Eddie Guerrero is rolling in his grave at how his wife wrestled last night. Lets just say for those who didn't see it, it was embarrassing. Like pissing on his grave embarrassing.
The HBK thing is getting old, you could have said the same thing about what happened last year between them.
also, wrassling is fake!
but really, fuck Cena, one of the main reasons I can't get back into watching wrestling, other than that it has dumbed wayyyyy down to cater to 5 year olds.
back in the day at least it was pg-13 and you had stone cold spraying people with beer from a firehose.

not as many kids watch though as they did during the attitude era. no one over 20 likes john cena. most of the fans are 21+ still and were rooting for batista to win.
I watched this as well. I'm pretty sure Undertaker wasn't faking blowing out his knee in the first 2 minutes of the match. Maybe he shouldn't take 8 minutes getting to the ring. Overall, most of the matches were lame and the Hart/McMahon match was not nearly what I was hoping it would be, but the MITB annd Taker/Michaels were almost worth the price tag.
yea i'm pretty sure he did hurt something. i thought it was his ankle.

What gave it away was after it happened you could see the realization on his face of "Oh shit I have to at least pull another 20 minutes out of this match." That and hearing him scream in pain the entire time. It was very un-Undertaker of him.
do kids still watch wrestling? everyone was into it back in the day but now it seems like the market is cornered...
i stopped in like 2000, the good old days of fat guys in ridiculous costumes slamming each other around are gone. it became about looking hot and being all athletic.

I thought this was an awesome Wrestlemania.
Rider is it really fake? I had absolutely no idea, I mean I haven't heard that saying over the past 20 something years now. Of course it's fake, everyone knows that. There's scripts, spots planned, and stuff but the injuries are real, that ring isn't soft the slightest bit and I don't care how fake you think wrestling is, getting hit with a metal chair and ladder is real, those definitely aren't fake.
I will agree with you that the whole PG-13 era being gone is really pissing me off. This whole "PG" thing they're going for doesn't allow room for much. When it was PG-13 you could do sooooo much more. That's why I like TNA because it's definitely PG-13. There's blade jobs on the reg on it.
Kofi doing the stilts thing wasn't stupid actually, it was genius in a way. You gota think this is entertainment and Kofi using a broken ladder as stilts to try to get the briefcase was amazing. The whole time we were like "just when you've thought you've seen it all in a MIB." I really wanted Shelton Benjamin to win but I know he wouldn't because he isn't over with the crowd, they feel Jack Swagger can get the bigger push of them all really. Evan Bourne doing the "Air Bourne" off the bridged ladder was awesome btw.
I'm pretty sure Undertaker definitely blew out his knee last night. He did the same thing in a hell in a cell once when he climbed down, jumped a little too high, and somehow broke his ankle but had to continue the match. Great match between him and Michaels though. I really had no idea who was gonna win it because they're both on their last leg. I wasn't surprised to see Shawn Michaels loose because he's been wrestling with a back injury for over 15 years now when the Undertaker back body dropped him onto a casket. It's just their time and they're in their late 40's, I actually think they'd both retire the same night. Michaels looses, Undertaker goes out undefeated.
Very happy with this PPV. There wasn't anything of it I didn't like except the woman's match when I was glad to take a piss.
This is how he hurt his back, not sure how because it didn't look insanely painful but it's just weird how it happened.
Hell I have buddies down in Salem who run their own show so I know the ins and outs of how it works. I think they are the number one show on local access salem haahaha like that's very hard.
