Need one to fit my Dean MLX (basically Dime's style guitar) but I hate buying shit online and dont have the time/resources to make one like I originally planned. Closest thing I can find in the stores is a case that cost as much as the damn guitar. Been looking through craiglist but no luck yet. Thanks

Use Saran Wrap. It fits snuggle to any type of surface or shape.

if i was gonna use the ghetto approach i'd probably use a trash bag instead

nevermind found a used hardshell at Natick Guitar center for $50.00 gonna go grab it after work. hopefullly it fits

I have a jimmy rigged case for my Gibson L6s right now. It's not even particularly odd shaped, it's just as wide as a jazz guitar but with a pretty thin body. The cases from back when the guitar was produced go on ebay for like 300-400. sucks. Paid $650 for the guitar.
