New site? Maybe some day.

i know this is a long shot to say the least but I have a guitar I need to sell. It was an impulse buy 4 months ago and now I want to sell it. Ready?.. Ready to flame this thread?.. ;-) its.....a.......fender!
Hah, begin the hatred.
I have a 1983 Fender American Stratocaster Elite in rare Wild Cherry finish for sale. Willing to drop the price from 950 to 800 - firm firm firm.
Details and pics can be seen here:
http://southcoast.craigslist.org/msg/1628943331.html
Elite's were only made in 1983 and '84 due to the fact that conservative Fender lovers saw the alterations to the strat design as 'messing with a classic'.
I know this is a metal forum and people hate fender, so I won't be surprised by hateful replies. It is what it is. |

The strat is by far one of the worst Fenders.
Now the JagStang, well... |
|
I kinda like it. Sorry, won't buy though. Cash was used to purchase a firearm instead. |

I'm a huge Eric Johnson fan, so I'm gonna go ahead and disagree.

anyone wanna bid over $700? thats the highest offer i have thus far. |
|
Why would it get flagged / taken down? |
|
im gonna go out on a limb and either say fender hater trolls from this board super-flagged it, or maybe it was the fact that i added keywords (like names of other guitar manufacturers to the end of the post to get more hits) that got it flagged |
|
I still don't understand fender hate. Wouldn't be my first choice for metal, but they play and feel nice. I also like their vintage amps. |
|
same here. i also have a fender hot rod deluxe amp, the thing cranks! i'm kind of secretly hoping that the buyer flakes tomorrow and I'll just keep the guitar to work on a Kevin Hufnagel from Dysrhythmia style setup.
