First off, I'm new on this page. I found it through a friend of a friend, no idea that it existed. Kickass, sweet stuff. The main point to my being here follows. I'm guitarist in Desired Enemy, we have a space at the New Bedford mills, have shows lined up, etc. etc. My co-guitarist is currently handling lead vox, but we wish to find somebody new. See the kid isn't bad, but he isn't what we need. What we need is someone with a mid-range voice that can dip down to growl on occassion, who can actually sing as well as entertain the crowd. We've had like 45 year old biker dudes with their gut hanging out try out, thats not what we're up for at all. The phrase 'old school with modern influence' has been used a lot lately, but this is what we've been doing for years and will continue doing no matter what the next fad is. Anyway, we're rock/metal heads and so I'm seeing if anybody out there is up for it. Check out www.desiredenemy.net, there are audio clips to check out. Thanks <no reason, Leo was my fave

New Bedford has always had some great bands. Ever hear of Trigger Effect? Or going way back, the same singer was in Hammersmyth. Slight of Mind is good for power metal. Some of the guys in other local bands I actually went to high school with. I wore my Maiden shirts and Bruins jerseys man, its funny how back then they told me my bands sucked and gave props to like 311, Strife and Korn. I like to rag on them every time I run into them, haha. Keep the metal flowing.
