Minus the rims, of course. It's a 97 Cadillac Deville. 186,000 miles. Heated seats. Leather interior. One owner. The guy is asking for $2600. I'm pretty excited about it. This will be the first car I ever buy.

I have a car for sale... 80k miles. $1800 for a fellow RTTPer. Its stick though.

I thought it was gonna be this:

I would sell this car to someone on RTTP and let them make monthly payments to me...

the neighborhood dogs never taught you that?

They only taught me to rub my dick on things and to eat my own puke.

i had a 93 caddy seville. it was a beautiful car with boatloads of horsepower. it had 120,000 miles when i bought it back in '03 for $1400. apart from the 32valve engine, the 1997 deville is the same car.

GM is notorious for for their cars from the 90's being absolute shit and cadillacs are no exception. you don't see a lot of 90's GMs out there today that are in good shape compared to others.

some of the multiple problems i had with the seville - the rear strut systems made a shitload of noise over bumps and were sunken in. you see a lot of older caddys around with the back half of the car hunched down, that's why.

the engine cooling system never worked right. i had to replace the water pump and the radiator and it would still overheat. by the time i got rid of it i couldn't drive 5 miles without overheating. this was around 140,000mi.

the biggest problem with it - NINE MILES PER GALLON.

don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful car when it worked right. but i can even see from this picture that the rear end of the car is sunken down a little bit.

i wouldn't buy it and i think it's a ripoff. just sharing my cadillac experience.

That's not the real picture of the car I'm getting, I posted that as an example of what the car looks like. I don't have a picture of the real thing. I've always been attracted to Caddys. The Caddy I wanted before this one was a 2000 Cadillac Catera.

toggletoggle post by BlackoutRick at Mar 4,2010 4:38pm
Yeah, bad idea. 186k is a joke, dude. You'll probably get 7 MPG with that boat. Get a fuckin Honda with a stick and learn them shits.

Whaddya think you'd be rollin in that thing sayin "I'm been pimpin since been pimpin since been pimpin since been pimpin since been pimpiiiiiiiiiin!!!"

As a former Caddy owner twice over, don't get one if you do a good amount of driving or plan on driving in the snow ever.

Yea, I drive a lot. Shit.

They suck up gas and are great in the snow if doing 360 degree spins in the middle of the highway are your thing.

Buy this from me. $1800/ $300/mo

toggletoggle post by BlackoutRick at Mar 4,2010 4:48pm
A Probe?!?!? HAHAHAHAHAHAA

toggletoggle post by AndrewBastard at Mar 4,2010 4:50pm
GT. Lous custom exhaust, mazda engine w/ headers, plugs, etc etc...

toggletoggle post by arktouros at Mar 4,2010 4:55pm
dude, i loved having a caddy, it just became a real bitch to own for so many reasons.

don't be attracted to the name. if any car with 186,000 miles on it is going for close to $3000, it'd better be a straight euro shag machine.

after i got rid of my seville for $300, i went out and bought the best car of my life, the 93 dodge stealth, with 97,000 miles on it for $2500. i still weep with longing for it. i actually drove around for pleasure and with the right tires i could drive anywhere all year. i had to get rid of it for a couple of reasons, one was it wasn't big enough to carry a paper bag in, let alone a drumset. someday i'll buy one to rebuild...

so many better options out there for $2500 than a caddy that should have died 50,000 miles ago.

haha, pretty tempting, it's the stealth's contemporary. even with a rice'd out body, THIS is a driver's car.

Cool. Yeah, I was going to call it a Mazda Probe.

I really don't know a whole lot about cars. Thanks for the advice.

toggletoggle post by AndrewBastard at Mar 4,2010 5:01pm
It drives fantastic, it's fast, custom interior, clean as fuck inside and out, power everything. My GF cant drive stick and I cant use it for my job so it's just sitting around...

MK, in the caddy pic you posted, those rims are worth more than that car. not joking.

it's a rebadged Opel (German car) that was for the most part total shite.

nothing worse than someone getting ripped off buying a car. it really takes months of research.

It is honestly and i'm still trying to convince my gf to just learn to drive stick and enjoy it so we can keep it cause i love driving it but i'm a courier for work and i cant do my job in that car for obvious reasons...

The Probe V6 was the same motor as the Mazda V6, only difference is one said mazda and one said ford.

The female aversion to driving stick is something I'm struggling with as I try to convince my gf why a Genesis Coupe would be a far better purchase than a faggy Nissan Cube.

toggletoggle post by rev at Mar 6,2010 5:32pm
girls hate the stick cause it reminds them that at one point, you might want them to play with your dong and girls hate dealing with the pole.

by the way ... if that was a 96 cadillac fleetwood brougham... it would be worth that much. those have a 5.7 liter LT1 engine and rear wheel drive. that deville is front wheel drive and full of gay and possibly aids. dont do it.

yeah its also the same chassis as the Vauxhall Monaro and the Pontiac GTO that came out in 04, which were bad ass cars.
