Nah, I enjoy it. I also don't think they're trying to represent it as a real band the way some folks seem to, so I don't get all threatened by it. It's light comedy with occasional gore and a few minutes of starter metal per episode, I can dig it.

The show doesn't make me think they're trying to present it as a real band but the CDs and tours kind of do... or at least that they're trying to get more money from feeble minded tools. Other than that I agree.

I know they're a joke band. Doesn't change the fact of how I don't like / agree with the premise.

The premise doesn't bother me just because people who know what they're talking about or have potential to know what they're talking about will know that not all metalheads are like the characters on that show. If anything it's kind of a good thing that tools can get into their own crappy metal scene and stay the fuck out of the one where all the intelligent, knowledgeable people are.

I can't recall laughing at a TV show ever in my life. Everything on TV ever has never had any remote form of true comical value.

No. I've always sat there with my arms folded. TV is not funny.

Normal TV is like, way too scripted and shit. That's why I love reality TV, that shit is for real man. Those are real people on TV. The situations are real and the humor is totally real and god damn they deserve every second of their airtime. I like seeing normal people like myself on TV. And holding public office, dude. Like, totally.

dethklok has only gave me small laughs here and there; I don't think it's that funny. it seems most adult swim things these day aren't that great. not sure what happened

the only time i enjoyed Adult Swim was when it first started with the first seasons of ATHF and Robot Chicken. those are classic. it lost it's momentum quickly though.

and the first seasons of Sealab and Space Ghost.

I got bored of Robot Chicken and can't get into it anymore. ATHF I have hated right from the start. The only things I give a shit about on AS besides Metalocalypse are Superjail and Moral Orel, Superjail has only 8 episodes I'm bored of watching while waiting for season 2 and Moral Orel is over. Kinda feel like I should be watching more Tim and Eric though, everything I've seen on that show was hilarious.

Superjail is a bad trip I wish I had never experienced.
