Relapse Records is proud to announce the signing of Dallas, TX's KILL THE CLIENT.

KILL THE CLIENT formed in 2004 and has previously released two full-length albums in addition to split releases with AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED and THOUSANDSWILLDIE. The band has also appeared on For The Sick - A Tribute To Eyehategod and 2008's This Comp Kills Fascists. Audio samples taken from these releases can be heard now via the band's MySpace page: MySpace.com/KillTheClient.

KILL THE CLIENT founder / bassist James Delgado commented on the signing; "Relapse has been the label of many of our heroes, influences and friends for many, many years and it is a honor to now be counted within their ranks. I feel that this band has a lot to add to the voice of the socially and politically astute grinders and punks throughout the world right now and we really appreciate the vote of confidence, musical freedom and exposure Relapse has offered us with this signing. The new material we are pulling together for this next release is on a new level and we can't wait to get it out! "

KILL THE CLIENT has a number of shows lined-up in and around Texas and California including shows with MISERY INDEX, MAGRUDERGRIND, PHOBIA, DESPISE YOU, SHITSTORM and more. The band will also take part in the 2010 Relapse Records SXSW showcase on March 17th in Austin, TX. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cities can be found below with more to be announced soon.

Good band though. I hope signing to Relapse doesn't kill 'em.

shitstorm do shows? do want.

I saw Shitstorm once in Florida, they put on a pretty intense show. Both them and Mehkago NT (who I've seen in Florida, Indiana, and North Carolina) seem to not make tour routes that go very far north. For example when I saw Mehkago in Raleigh, the farthest north that tour went was Silver Spring, MD.

Supposedly Shitstorm has a bass player now too. Must hear.

the songs on the magrudergrind split are more memorable than the magrudergrind songs. that is the only thing I have from them.

And I like the Shitstorm songs better on their split with Magrudergrind.

that's what I'm saying. good songs are good.

I really don't care for either side of that split too much... I thought Shitstorm's songs on This Comp Kills Fascists were awesome though. The way the drums are recorded on Shitstorm's half of the MG split makes everything sound a bit too choppy for me, if it was recorded and mastered the same way as TCKF tracks, it would be awesome.

Magrudergrind's songs on that comp were also way better than that split too if you ask me (while I'm on the subject). Burden kicks ass.

I'm awesome.

lamp, i will take your word for it and get that comp.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Feb 25,2010 4:56pm
Yeah, that comp is the best thing to have come out in a long time.

I don't like every band on it but the bands I do like on it put out AMAZING material. This is no throwaway comp. Weekend Nachos put out some of their best shit. Spoonful of Vicodin's stuff was fucking incredible. Chainsaw to the Face's material is mind-blowingly awesome. Insect Warfare, Kill the Client, Agents of Satan... fuck where do I even begin to say how much I love that comp?

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Feb 25,2010 4:59pm
Chainsaw To The Face is definitely my favorite on it.

PS: This Comp Kills Fascists vol. 2 is in the works but I really don't know much about it yet.
