I have no clue what normal core is. Apparently though "easy core" is what bands like title fight and four year strong are. Apparently easycore is a mixture of pop-punk and melodic hardcore.

I didn't just make that shit up either. Its on their wiki, right at the top.

For the misinformed normal-core is just straight up normal. A fan of normal-core would likely say something like, "if you dont like the weather in New England just wait five minutes". Another possible saying by a normal-core fan would be, "hey I dont like to work but someones got to do it". They might also listen to hootie and the blowfish, Joan Osborn, Frank Zappa, and for the more edgy Normal-Core fan they might even so much as listen to some Queen...

See, Zappa, Joan, and Hootie are all relatively normal. Therefore, they fit right in with Normal-Core. I am extremely Normal-Core so I figured I would do an extra special write up on Normal-Core. I am glad everyone is enjoying this nice mellow post.

Zappa is so widespread it is now normal to hear that someone you have never talked to about music bring Zappa up as an influence. It would be abnormal not to these days. When is the last time you went a year without hearing about Zappa? see it is very normal to like Zappa and Zappa has become a normal standard of musical discussion.

Also, ZAPPA is on record as being a conservative politically. This posture makes the argument for his normality that much stronger. I am a jewish liberal who works in a bank downcity, is that normal-core?
