Yeah 2 seconds after I posted that I thought ''that's probably not what he meant.'' I just hate when people try to get around a lousy $5 cover charge... after 85 shows I've seen it happen enough times.
Anyone have an extra bass amp they can lend? Not a major crisis if not, but I prefer to use two bass cabs whenever possible and can't fit both in Rusty's car. I can use your whole rig if you feel more comfortable.
Also, the second / third band can set up behind us. We don't take up much room.

you can use my ampeg rig...its a combo but itll work just fine.

its an 02 Camry....we could prob fit everything....but the gas mileage all that equip would eat up going from Somerville to Worcester and back would be killer

I've done pretty much the same thing with my 93 Corolla. Guitar cabs fit quite well on the back seat.
I think I've actually seen a cake bukkake video once. Wow, this show was fucking amazing... best pit action in the past few months for sure. I'm going to hate myself at 6AM when the alarm goes off.
Necronomochrist - Keys really gayed up this band. The music would have been pretty good if the happy sounding keys didn't drown everything out. seriously at least change the tone or something. This band could be fairly heavy without those gay fucking happy sounding key board intrusions. Drummer was awesome. guitar player thinks im a jackass for moshing into him. pussy.
scaphism - bring da fucking mosh dood. good times. Love this band. They keep getting better. RRRAAAAAPPPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!1
killer fucking show. the crowd was nuts during our set, definitely the best pit action in a while. all of the bands were awesome, Fuck Everyone was hilarious, it was like Crotchduster, Godflesh, and HYEO had a deformed love child. Necronomichrist was very different than what i expected, i do agree that they could tone down the keys a bit, but otherwise the music was awesome. word to the wise for vocalists, don't do death metal if you've had a throat infection the week before. i lost my voice about 2 songs from the end and i can barely make a sound today. ack.
Josh, Necronomichrist normally has 2 guitarists, probably why the keys were more prominent in last night's set. Kendall is indeed a monster drummer, he plays with Infinite Descent too so he'll be performing at the next MT on March 4th.
this is me. only i make it downstairs and outside to cool off before I actually puke most of the time. ran outside twice during scaphism last night. only puked once from moshing too hard. It was at ralphs forget who was playing.

necronochrist - sucked. good drummer but atrocious keyboard sounds, terrible singing, and cocky banter made this one of the worst sets i've seen in awhile.
scaphism - great band. definately the most promising new death metal band to pop up within the past year. i totally missed the pitch on children of the underworld, my bad tony!
worcester bands/shows have been smoking the shit out of boston lately MARCH ON.
I had a great nite last nite.. Way better than sitting at home to youporn. Pit was great just like I remembered it. Anybody got pics of the bands and shit?

When I made a quick run to the ATM downstairs during Scaphism's set, I almost lost it when I heard the music they were playing on the juke box... "Rape Me" by Nirvana. LMAO!
Forced Asphyxiation and Necronomichrist were both pleasant surprises...and the little over 2 songs I heard of Scaphism were pretty fucking awesome...they're definitely improving by a whole lot
