i liketed it! big country is a great way to open up an album. i would assume thats the plan. i want to hear the song where the guitar drops out at the beginning with that sort of mid-tempo thing going on. put that up! pumpshark feels draggy to me but thats because i always liked that song a little faster the way we first recorded it.

We're dicks. At the moment, Big Country is going to be second to last and Pumpshark is going to be played more slowly.

finally got to a computer with internetz to listen. frickin' delightful, though the guitar tone leaves something to be desired. i dont hear any kt77s lulz jk sounds tuberiffic

actually, I'm not a big fan on how it came out there. I didn't have the new mod to the ENGL at that point and was using Low Peak mode of the OCD pedal at the time. I've switched all that up.

Also, I'll fight you.

you running the OCD in the front of the powerball as a boost? or as another layer of gain?

ordering a new quartet today for the 2 chan DR. going back to 6L6 after having EL34s in it for the past 9 months. i enjoyed it thoroughly, but i know where my heart lies.

OCD is in front mostly another layer of gain or as the main gain source. It's not really a transparent enough pedal to use as a boost. But honestly, I mostly just use the clean channel and second gain stage of the clean channel with the OCD at about 50% drive on High Peak.

When I really want to get ignorant, I throw on the high gain channel. The mod to invert the phase of that channel pulled a lot of the gain out of it. Even still, it is more gain than I need for this.

I'm surprised you even thought of betraying the 6L6s. Should have known it'd be temporary...that tattoo staring you down.

Big Country wasn't 80's enough. That makes me a sad panda.
