to me there is nothing better than coming into a house and smelling real pine. If I could have a real pine tree that smelled like real pine in my house all year long, I would.

Uh... real then.

Real all the way, it makes me think negatively of people's houses when I walk in and they have a metal rod with plastic branches

my work gf says that his looks like a bunch of coat hangers tied together.

agreed. how difficult is it to maintain a live tree for a whopping month?

toggletoggle post by sxealex   at Dec 17,2009 5:56pm
plz note that the tree is at a subpar living once its chopped up for your house. There is nothing wrong with having a real xmas tree but its a huge fucking mess to clean afterwards. I vote get a couple wreaths or branches for the smell and get a nice fake one. Actually my real vote is fuck it completely O.o

how about none.

I install lava pits and spinning blades in my living room to celebrate the birth of King Koopa.

I prefer real, I have fake.

Although the fake works nicely as a Festivus pole without the branches.

Real, but I'd prefer none. Fuck giftmas.

I love real tree smell but holy shit I'm tired of vacuuming needles every fucking day. So just think "at least I'm not getting pine needles lodged in my socks".

my parents get a live tree in a bulb and then replant it after christmas. they've been doing it for 23 years now. The tree from the year we moved into the house is probably 30 feet tall now.

my parents did that once and the tree was disappered the minute we moved out.
