Best heavy metal of the decade 1999-2009

Forget what the labels want you to buy. Forget the tends and the one-note purist music. Here's a list of the best metal had to offer during the last decade, for real metal fans, by real metal fans!

As a huge supporter of what Skepticism does, I can't believe Alloy was placed on this list. Though better than a lot of the other albums mentioned, their previous releases are far more superior.

Bova ruled this decade. obviously.

I like the list, but there's a few left off IMO. But that's expected with lists like these.

Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame > Oath Bound , but both albums are great.

both ARE truly fucking great, but the vocal samples take away from some of the majesty of Fame, imo. i think they perfected their songwriting with oath bound and i can't wait to see what's next.

Do you ever not copy and paste something (links) already published on the internet and actually develop your own opinions? Or do you just so happen to agree with about everything, band and every word that you copy and paste.

Unless ofcourse you wrote this last article.

;)

I've got Opeth "Frilly lace and pink garters: Greatest Hits" on order from SLAMazon.com

toggletoggle post by swamplorddvm  at Dec 16,2009 4:45pm
Well I have to agree that opeth is... not my thing. Though I don't hate them as much as you, I do find them quite boring. (chick metal band)
