The Patriots are up 14-0 on the Fish at Land Shark stadium, ha. Hope it lasts. (scratch that, the Dolphins just scored whilst I was posting: 14-7 now) I actually picked the fish to win this game, but I hope I am wrong. The Pats SUCK on the road this year. They have lost every road game with the exception of beating the Bucs in London. 1-4 on the road does not look good when they get into the playoffs. They will have AT LEAST one road game in the postseason. The rest of their regular season schedule looks A-okay if they can keep it together on defense and pending injuries:

Remaining schedule:
_________________________

Home against the Panthers
@Buffalo Bills
Home against the Jaguars
@ the Texans

The Texans will give them the biggest fit I think besides the Dolphins this afternoon. I think they go 11-5 to finish the year. They will take out the Panthers, Jags and Bills. They will win a VERY tough game against Houston. What do you folks think?? Drop your 2 cents here!!

Wow, I officially have no hope for the Patriots for the rest of this season. Their defense is horrible. The offense cannot seem to hold a damned lead, or get at least 14 points of breathing room. Their season is now hopeless and over in my book.

With what I saw this afternoon the Patriots will finish 9-7, miss the playoffs and won't win their next 2 road games. BOO URNS!!!

i predict a wild card spot, any where between a first round loss to an afc championship loss if they're lucky.
keep going to the well on deep shit, keep waiting for moroney to turn it on without putting the ball on the ground, keep going for it on forth instead of being logical, keep putting the jv squad back there in the secondary (shawn springs was a bust, merriwether is a #2 cb or #2 ss, bodden had stats padded by a lousy qb in matt sanchez) and keep putting all this out there on the road...
they can't win on the road like this.
i think that the league is catching up to the pats. other teams just seem to be faster and stronger, and the pats defense can't catch up.
panthers looked ok today... hopefully they'll faulter a little next week.

i predict a squeaky win next week against panthers
they'll beat the bills cuz the bills are a mess and a joke.
the texas will beat them
the other team i can't remember.
i'm taking the it's just foot ball route these days. my life has felt like shit since that 4th and 2 thing.

offenses don't hold leads... defenses do. but you can keep opposing offenses off the field by extending drives... not by throwing bombs.

They play the Jags in the other game. This game has wild card implications. Whoever wins this game might snag that spot. Pats by three at home in OT over the Jags.

Alright I wasn't going to post in this thread because the idea of this game still pisses me off. But I feel like this thread needs a little rationale.

Let's think about this folks....

Patriots remaining schedule:
CAROLINA (5-7)
@BUFFALO (4-8)
JACKSONVILLE (Perhaps the worst 7-5 in history)
@HOUSTON (5-7)
Combined Record: 21 - 27

Jets remaining schedule:
@TAMPA (1 - 11)
ATLANTA (6 - 6)
@INDIANAPOLIS (12 - 0 and not about to blow an undefeated season to the Jets)
CINCINNATI (9 - 3)
Combined Record: 28 - 20

Miami's remaining schedule:
@ JACKSONVILLE (7-5)
@ TENNESSEE (5-7 but playing their asses off)
HOUSTON (5-7)
PITTSBURGH (6-6 But better than their record, and vying for a playoff spot)
Combined Record: 23 - 25

The Pats defense isn't finishing games and it's a big problem. But can anybody explain to me how they're going to lose enough of their remaining games to cough up the division to the Jets or Dolphins?

I just can't believe we lost to the dolphins.
