Yeah when we got the flyer and all of us were like "$15.00....that a typo?" I mean we got asked to play so we have no say over how much they want to charge at the doors but I think $15 will turn away alot of people.
i would say that the wait only makes the beer tasted better, but they don't have any good beer. so it's just wholely disappointing

I missed the first few bands due to having to deal with some issues over the phone.
We played well. Apparently, kids don't dig it when I diss their love for Atreyu bands or throw bottles, pitchers, and cups full of liquids at them.
PS. I've been selling quite a few Composted CD's along with our own, mainly due to, A.)my word of mouth, and B.)just the CD cover art alone.
Only Blood Will Tell had some mic problems, but so did everyone else that night. If you get a chance, check these guys out. After 5+ years of being a band, they FINALLY released a full length(no, they haven't put out EPs). Heavy rock and roll shit.
Astronmer. It's good to see the band be more active as well as be the loudest thing on the planet(see what I did there?). They were always good as statues, but theyre even better with a towering ginger plumeting into the crowd in a drunken frenzy. Combine that with their guitarists assaulting everyone near to them. Astronomer 2.0 gets an A+ in hilarious douche-baggery.
Keith Dece' from In Remembrance, Voyager, Black My Heart, Waking Judea, RATT, and that band that played in my parent's driveway years ago may be playing for them full time(?).
Forever the Fallen. Wicked nice dudes, I just don't dig their style of music. They played tight though. They pray before they play. THEY PREY before they PRAY.
Armor for the Broken. A couple technical issues, but overall they sounded great. Once an overly whiny nerdy mall-metalcore band with synths has become an angry death-metal influenced metalcore band. People on this board wouldn't dig their melodic parts, but pay attention to this band in the near future. Their new material is killer.
Seeker Destroyer. I'm buddy-buddy with these guys so hopefully this won't be taken as shit talking. They sounded AWFUL. Up front, by the stage, they sounded good. Towards the back, all you could hear was mud. I'm not referring to their musicianship, I'm sure they played flawlessly. It's like someone had taken damp cloths and draped it over their cabinets. It was strange and kind of killed the "final performance" vibe for me on a band that I'm always stoked to see/play with. Regardless, they looked happy, and for a band's last show, that's what truely matters.
Good times! Hivesmasher's set was fun as usual. Something about making an entire room of babies uncomfortable. Caught a few Seeker songs, but I agree with Aaron it definitely sounded awful from the back. But good dudes nonetheless. Disagree with the huge $15 cover charge, but it was fun
Then again... I spent most of my time (and money) at the bah downstairs anyway so who am I to talk
