So what would it take to get these bands over here into America? I was wondering, do you think an unofficial street team would be in order?

Mabe if we could print out unofficial posters and have them hanging up for their respective latest releases in Newbury Comics in the MA area that would help? I'm just pitchin' ideas...

Eep Op Ork AH AH and that means I love you,

pay for their air fair and they will most likely play or if they have a tour set up to make back travel $$$

i remember reading articles on several european bands that get offered between 200 and 1000 bucks to play a show but that will never cover cost of flying 4-10 people plus gear pay for food place to stay.

if you could set up a tour where they get 500 a show and play 20 shows they might pay for travel

hmm I'm wondering, how big is My Dying Bride around America? They're fairly wellknown, though I'm reluctant to introducing them here and having them viewed as cof/dimmu fodder. There's no place for waste like that.

my dying bride has more talent then what cof could ever dream of having, i think there's people who love mdb katatonia and bands like novembre, and they've been around for a very long time, i just think they don't have too huge of a following here, but if they went of tour i think they would just attract a huge audience because a good number of people know them.
when i was doing my radio show a week ago i was playing half of the new mdb album and i was getting tons of calls about these guys, most of calls were people who never even heard of them, but that's good more people buying better music, so maybe one day....

It's good to agree on something

I think MDB could be huge, if pushed right. My Wine in Silence is just begging for college radio play. Keep pushing good shit!

i love both of those bands, especially katatonia. those are 2 bands i'd kill to see. actually katatonia is a band i'd kill to BE. i was actually talking to a friend in the industry a couple weeks ago to see if it would be a good idea to get some people to invest in bringing katatonia to new england. out of any band i've never seen live, katatonia is the one i want to see most. i told my band i would quit if we don't cover katatonia sometime soon.
