Anyone play this yet? Now that I'm on the final boss in Chrono Trigger and don't even feel like playing it anymore, I'm going to start this game.

I just picked up a copy the other day. It was pretty hard to find it in store although I obviously could have found it on Amazon. But FYE had it. Most likely because no sane person goes there to buy videogames.

How do you not feel like beating lavos???

toggletoggle post by Martins   at Sep 22,2009 11:19am
Go back and finish Chrono Trigger. You will regret not beating it while you're on your deathbed.

try beating CT with all the alternate endings.

DO IT U WONT

I can easily not feel like beating Lavos. Already enjoying Devil Survivor more. Guess the plot is more my thing?

Well, I'm all for opinion but some things are just fact.

Chrono Trigger > Shin Megami Tensei
and I like those games.

But I <3 Satan...

toggletoggle post by Martins   at Sep 22,2009 8:55pm
Fuck. I need to pick up that game and The World Ends With You.

The only thing I fear about the fact that I'm probably going to play Devil Survivor and The World Ends With You Back to back is that it looks like they both take place in modern Japan with teens saving da Erf and j-rock heavy soundtracks.

I have a hard time playing any game with characters that look like those in the first post

toggletoggle post by Martins   at Sep 23,2009 7:25am
Ya they all look like Jimbo.

Trust me though, these are good games. Well, I don't know about this one exactly but Persona 3 was awesome. Persona 4 is supposed to be even better.

there are so many games that I get to the last battle and give up after failing a few times.
castlevania on the ps2, final fantasy x, MGS4, etc...

Persona 3 was awesome. Then I stopped playing. Seems like that game takes over 100 hours to beat or something. I'd level up for 1 night (1 night of the time in the game)and then have to grind through 30 days to try to get through the plot, social links, etc. Over and over. The story was shaping up well, and I actually enjoyed the battle system, but it was just too tedious after about 60 hours of that. With still about 3 months to go...Plus the FES portion.

I had a month to go at the end and then realized I wasn't leveled up enough to get to the top so I gave up. Sold it back but it was entertaining while it lasted.

Only for the true nerd to accomplish.

I've done like 3 or 4. They added a new alternate ending to the DS version that ties more to Chrono Cross.

Yea. I really like that game, but the grinding became too much.

This reminds me of Star Ocean 2 on the PS1. You had to be around lvl200 to beat the game, if I remember correctly. Another game where I got near the end and said fuck this shit.

toggletoggle post by Martins   at Sep 23,2009 7:35pm
Star Ocean 1 was the shit. So good.

toggletoggle post by aril at Sep 23,2009 7:41pm
Star Tropics.

hahaha no

This game is awesome. I've mainly been playing it to and from work. Good times.
