my friend's dad took his grand kid to the park and another kid kept on picking on his grandchild...so my friend's dad was like.."oh you shouldn't do that.." but he said it nicely...the kid's mom said NOTHING..she didn't give a crap that her kid was being a bully...so my friend's dad pulled a fast one...and managed to pinch the kid hard...and move out of the way so the kid didn't know what happened HAHAHAHAHAHA

It is quite funny reading some of these comments, because honestly it seems most of you guys have no idea what it's like to put someone else's needs in front of your own.
What happened to the respect of a raising a child? As history has shown us, there is no greater honor than raising a child and watching it grow up, looking up to you as a role model. It is what our civilization was based on for thousands of years.
Obviously stupid people shouldn't breed; but the personal enlightenment and responsibilities that come along with having a child certainly say a lot about someone.

But hey, to each their own. But someday, if you guys even think about it, maybe you'll understand what I'm talking about.

I have kids, but I did laugh at the article too. Raising spuds is the hardest thing I have ever done, but I would not trade it for anything. One thing I cannot stand is people not able to control their kids though. Most parents these days are scared shitless if they discipline their kids for fears of DSS knocking on their door. A lot of shit fuck kids use DSS as a threat to get away with whatever they want. Fuckers. regardless, I have walked the thin line of discipline with my kids and societys "believe" in how to do it and I came out on top. I have the respect of my kids, once I got that things are just fine. I am more than half way through my tour of duty with kids so that is awesome too!

Now, I really DON'T mean this offensively to you Jim, but there is a general lack of respect for anything on this board. I think maybe you're just extra sensitive to this subject because you have a child. Which by the way, I have told you before that i greatly respect what you did with your life when it happened. You realized that you were responsible for another life OTHER than your own, and made the changes to your lifestyle to do everything you could to give that kid everything he needs. Very, very respectable.....

I love being a parent and wouldn't have it any other way. I also agree that not liking other people's kids, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO BRING THEIR KIDS TO WAL-MART is acceptable. I laughed at the article but I also sighed because the lack of parenting skills in this generation is highly disappointing hence why we have stories like this floating around.

if i was even to consider having a kid, it wouldn't be for at least another decade. mainly due to the fact that this current state of society is no place to bring a child to, but also because i have so much i want to do, and wouldn't be able to with a child.

my kid is starting to test the limits of acceptable behavior (as most 15 month olds do) and i'm doing my best to keep her in line. there are way too many pussy parents out there who let their kids walk all over them and everyone else. those kids grow up to be inconsiderate, selfish shitheads. i don't want to be one of those stupid parents.
