Just got back from seeing this. One of Tarantino's best films in my opinion. Brad Pitt is great, along with the rest of the cast. Thoughts?

A friend of mine said it was his least favorite Tarantino movie. But then again, my friend has pretty shitty taste when it comes to movies. Come to think of it, I don't even know why he's my friend. Asshole.

Movie was fucking great. Would consider it one of his best. anyone who did not like it can eat a bowl of dicks.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I look forward to it because of all the great reviews.

fuck goofy hitler charicters, if Tarantino had any balls the movie would be about a group of Nazi's (one played by Samual Jackson) trying to kill British Troops and Winston Churchill in the 30's. The Movie also should have been called 88 Bastards

loved the movie....I'd say as far as Tarantino is concerned, only Pulp Fiction is better, and I really like Kill Bill, Death Proof, Reservoir Dogs, and True Romance

flawless movie in my opinion. the tension and anxiety the villian delivers is totally worth seeing it alone. if he doesn't win an oscar for this i'm writing 1,000 angry letters to...no one.

good movie, way better than I expected it to be after deathproof, but nothing revolutionary

I thought it was an awesome movie, I'd like to see it again before i rate it on a scale of my favorite tarantino movies but its definatly not his worse.

really good movie although could have done without mike myers and his bad makeup job... also the sound track was 50-50

Easily one of Tarantino's best films. Will have to see it again to decide, but might be his best yet.

and bj novak, probably one of the worst casting decisions ever, I am a big bj novak fan, he deserves to be in films, but not this one

I'm an Office fan, but I just don't think he's that great of an actor....even his interviews are awkward

I thought the opening scene on the farm and the first part with the Basterds were great, but then the movie kind of lost me. I felt the scenes that were supposed to be suspenseful were just frustratingly drawn out. Brad Pitt's character was the only thing keeping my interest.

Oh, and I'm all about alternate history stuff, but the ending to this was just ridiculous. Also, I agree about doing away with the Mike Myers part...

thats his charm, and also denotes the only roles/movies he should be in

LOL - I just about fell out of my seat when Pitt started speaking Italian. (Which, considering I saw it at the drive-in, would have been quite an accomplishment.)

they interviewed Tarantino on NPR/Fresh Air, I only caught part of it but he seems like a fun guy to have a drink with.
