http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/weather/08/18/severe.storm/index.html

A good quote from the article. I hope we get nailed.

"The models showed Bill's path moving dangerously close to the Carolina coast and the Northeast."

Of course it could move out to sea which would suck.

we need a good hurricane. Bob was in 91.

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Aug 18,2009 7:46am
Yup, we are beyond overdue for a wind and water raping. The conditions around here are proper for it too right now. Hot and humid as fuck and the water off the coast is warm as urine. I live on the Cape so I am watching this storm.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 18,2009 7:56am
didnt bob go from north varolina to new england in 8hrs?

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Aug 18,2009 8:00am
Don't remember. I just remember having a good time in the storm. I got fAcked up during it. Well, until a tree landed on my car and totaled it. Good times!

"The National Hurricane Center expected Bill to strengthen over the next 48 hours. Various weather models showed the storm either missing or grazing the west side of Bermuda as it heads toward the U.S. East Coast."
__________

Scientists predicted that we were overdue for a hurricane but then retracted that statement last year. I think we should get something this year other than the Carolina Hurricans raping the Bruins

even I remember Hurricane Bob! I was six or seven at the time and was on the cape with my family and some family friends. The eye went right over us! There were these big doors that weren't exactly hurricane proof at the time so we propped up some boards and such to try and keep the doors closed. We all took turns sitting on the boards, kids included haha.

Up here we very rarely get tornadoes. And the ones that we do are weak compared to the ones in the midwest.

Sky turns green, then dark, and it gets very damp out. Pretty exciting stuff

I remember the '78 blizzard. I was 5. That was sick too. My mother got caught out in the storm on her way home from work or something. She was stranded in her car for over a day. I was really worried. But now I hate the bitch and wish she slowly froze to death.

We had drifts higher than our house.

Some loser weather man on a shit news station said it will miss us but the weather channel says it is too early to predict. I hope we get nailed and that fucktard weatherman gets fired along with his Boston accent.

toggletoggle post by boblovesmusic   at Aug 19,2009 8:10am
135 mph

"A much larger trough of low pressure is expected to develop along the U.S. East Coast late this week, turning Bill to the north. Exactly where this turn occurs is still not clear, and both Bermuda and Cape Cod, Massachusetts will be in Bill's 5-day forecast cone of uncertainty. At present, it appears that the Canadian provinces of Newfoundland or Nova Scotia are at greatest risk from a strike by Bill, but New England and Bermuda cannot relax just yet."
