New site? Maybe some day.
we need a good hurricane. Bob was in 91. |
Yup, we are beyond overdue for a wind and water raping. The conditions around here are proper for it too right now. Hot and humid as fuck and the water off the coast is warm as urine. I live on the Cape so I am watching this storm. |
didnt bob go from north varolina to new england in 8hrs? |
Don't remember. I just remember having a good time in the storm. I got fAcked up during it. Well, until a tree landed on my car and totaled it. Good times! |
"Bill is not a hurricane. Bill is an insurance salesman. From Topeka, Kansas." |
This bastard is well formed.
Yeah dude...
"The National Hurricane Center expected Bill to strengthen over the next 48 hours. Various weather models showed the storm either missing or grazing the west side of Bermuda as it heads toward the U.S. East Coast."
__________
Scientists predicted that we were overdue for a hurricane but then retracted that statement last year. I think we should get something this year other than the Carolina Hurricans raping the Bruins |
even I remember Hurricane Bob! I was six or seven at the time and was on the cape with my family and some family friends. The eye went right over us! There were these big doors that weren't exactly hurricane proof at the time so we propped up some boards and such to try and keep the doors closed. We all took turns sitting on the boards, kids included haha. |
hurricaine gloria YOWHATUP |
hmm, I suppose I'll add Hurricane Bob to the list of inspirations for my screenname! |

Up here we very rarely get tornadoes. And the ones that we do are weak compared to the ones in the midwest.
Sky turns green, then dark, and it gets very damp out. Pretty exciting stuff |
Hurricane Bob was the shit...bring it on, Bill. |
i remember Bob vividly, i was 10. it smashed apart my Grampa's dock on Webster Lake. i even remember parts of Gloria, i think that was 86. |
i remember gloria. i was 6. i remember sitting in the living room with my parents and sister and hearing branches hit the house. a big one almost smashed through the window. |
I remember Blizzard of 1978. We lived in Hull. Now THAT was a seige. |

I love how apocalyptic weather utterly fucking destroys all human plans and drives their pretense underground. From "what do I want to do today for the glorification of me?" to "OH FUCK HIDE" |
I rememebr Gloria too. I was on the cape then too. I was 12. |
I was in elementary school and I remember signs coming down and everyone yelling GLORIA GLORIRA |

I think I was sick or had to go to the hospital or something during that storm. don't remember any of it. too young. |

I was pretty young too, but I do remember our basement flooding like a motherfucker and our doggie got really sick. |
gloria like the song from the early 80's |
I THINK I GOT YOUR NUMBA! |
Gloria Glorira hahahahahaha |

I was just a glimmer in my fathers eye at that point. But i do remember hearing about it every time it snowed. |
Oh yea? I vividly remember the San Francisco earthquake in 1906. Beat that, bastards. |

***In an old man voice***
I remember the '78 blizzard. I was 5. That was sick too. My mother got caught out in the storm on her way home from work or something. She was stranded in her car for over a day. I was really worried. But now I hate the bitch and wish she slowly froze to death.
We had drifts higher than our house. |
happened my parents too.. only my mom was pregnant with my bro at the time |
Some loser weather man on a shit news station said it will miss us but the weather channel says it is too early to predict. I hope we get nailed and that fucktard weatherman gets fired along with his Boston accent. |
135 mph
"A much larger trough of low pressure is expected to develop along the U.S. East Coast late this week, turning Bill to the north. Exactly where this turn occurs is still not clear, and both Bermuda and Cape Cod, Massachusetts will be in Bill's 5-day forecast cone of uncertainty. At present, it appears that the Canadian provinces of Newfoundland or Nova Scotia are at greatest risk from a strike by Bill, but New England and Bermuda cannot relax just yet." |
yeah, I am bummed. I have a feeling it will turn away from us now. :( |
Contrails in the skies over boston right now..do not despair |
yeah, who likes nice weather any how. |
Nice weather is boring as shit. |

I, for one, hate thinking that no trees will fall on my practice space, my mother's house, my father's house, etc, etc, etc.
Fuck being rational. NIHILISM! |

Exactly! Fuck that shit. All joking aside, I like nice weather, but I like crazy weather as well. Actually more so. Hurricanes, really good thunderstorms and such. Although I hate the weather now. too hot and too humid. |
I would like crazy weather when it's not a season that I should be drinking margaritas at the beach. |
Horrible weather is amazing because it feels like the apocalypse. WoOoOoOoOaAaAaAhH! |
lol @ people in this thread complaining about the humidity in new england
edit: it is quite humid out sometimes, but it doesn't hold a candle to houston, miami, etc.
your nuts literally stick to your leg. literally. |

Last night I almost wizzed on my feet because my wang was pinned to my nads due to intense the intense swamp crotch caused by the humidity. |

Aren't you in boston? It's an entirely different animal when you get a little further inland. |
I work in Boston but live down in Middleboro - or, as the locals like to call it - "Diddleboro" because of all the pedos that live in the town |

MSD is from Middleboro? Who would have thunk it? |
it's more likely then you think. |
My brother used to boot heroin in Diddleboro. He was a swell guy back then. |
I'm pretty stoked for a hurricane. |
Did I go to school with msd? Ha |
hey sorry to kill the buzz but this things gonna miss the US and nail canada as category 1 |

I dunno how Raleigh compares to Miami but I will say I often find myself dying over here. Then again, I also lived on the coast in New England, just to bring that argument into my statement... |
good i need a relaxing weekend. also moving equipt around a lot for shows and recording would suck ass in hurricane winds/rain. |
Fuck being rational. NIHILISM! |
Rationality is a linear representation of logic and aesthetics, both of which are more important.

I hope so, it needs to cool down around here. |
just saw pete (the_network) trying to find a place to surf. the waves on the nh coast are awesome, but packed and most of the water is shutdown due to the rough seas. |
All I know I'm at horseneck and it's pretty epic right now. Huge waves and hairy new Bedford women ftw |
I have some footage of me snapping lines on a 15ft face on nantasket. Best waves since early 90's. Hilarious to watch all the kooks try and battle the beachbreak and the rip tide. More stuff is developing down south now..fingers crossed. |
September 14th it'll come. |
I will be ready. "You can't put in a cage Utah!" |
