I think every decent bassist has simply upped and vanished, but I'll post regardless.

Evince Ethos, a Modern Symphonic Metal band based out of Worcester, is currently looking for an emergency fill-in bassist for at least the next 3 months, due to an unexpected injury. We are recording a Radio-Quality EP, due by the end of the week. The Fill-in bassist is not required for this. Also a good possibility that our current bassist is unable to play for years, so this could change to a full-time spot.

We're based out of Worcester. Sound clips available on request.

We are in the vein of Epica/After Forever/Kamelot/etc.

We have performances lined up, and this could be a great opportunity to play with some truly awesome musicians, and awesome people.

General Requirements:
- Ability to be a quick study, and learn fairly challenging material quickly (35-minute set to be learned by the performance date)
- Professional, performance-ready gear
- Music theory knowledge gets you points. I'm sick of charting tabs.
- Modesty, and the ability to gel with the rest of the guys (and gal).

That last one is key. Send me a mail, or give me a call at 978-257-3710, ask for Tod.

*Edit* Clarified a few things.

i remember you guys. good luck with finding someone to fill-in. sucks that your bass player might not be able to play for years.

We're finishing our EP this afternoon. Mix-down is tomorrow afternoon.

I'll happily supply a link, but please disregard the initial quality, I can e-mail you the Mp3's of the professional version tomorrow afternoon.

Spot still open.
