I would hate to have tourettes syndrome. Even though I make fun of everything and I am giggling at this now I am glad they're giving these kids a stress free environment to enjoy the type of activities that other kids can enjoy.
In 3rd grade we had a new student that came in and every 5 minutes he would go "errrrrrrrrrp." Everyone made fun of him up until 8th grade until I think he moved away
i had a friend for years who had mild Tourette's, it just caused him to say the most unbelievable, outlandish things. sometimes they were hysterical, sometimes they were racist, misogynistic, in poor taste and horribly timed. sometimes they were both.
a popular misconception with tourettes is that its always about shouting stuff really loud. A lot of the people who have just twitch a lot and don't shout obscenities loudly.
