So I just got a notice that I apparently got a parking ticket in May for street sweeping. It's on a day that I normally wouldn't even be there, but I can't confirm that so whatever.

I never got a ticket though. So of course I have nice late fees applied to the charge. If I call them tomorrow is there even a chance that I can get them to remove that?

Bloodsuckers.

I may have a ticket in RI and MA that I never paid. They stopped mailing after a while. LIVE FREE OR DIE!

Was it in faggot Somerville? Because those fuckfaces will not remove a ticket even when you have documentation of their mistake.

I got a parking ticket in Somerville in January and didn't pay until March; I believe it only cost about $5 more.

I have about billion tickets from Brookline. FUCK that place.

This is from Boston, and it's costing $60.

you can contest it in front of a magistrate... but that's probably more trouble than it's worth.

I got a parking ticket in Boston once that was written up for an address 2 miles away from where I actually parked. I appealed it and had the ticket dropped, but my appeal notice came with a condescending letter telling me that it was my fault, but they'd let it slide this time.

How did you appeal a parking ticket? We had a couple that we should have appealed, Jon ended up having to go to driver re-training because of stupid shit like that.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Jul 17,2009 1:35pm
There are instructions on the ticket envelope.

We didn't get an envelope, just the ticket and I didn't see anything on there. Oh well. NEXT TIME.
