i think he's involved with some lawsuit involving a sequel to that shitty book he wrote.

Catcher In The Rye was an alright book, I don't believe it warranted a sequel by someone completely unrelated to him. I was surprised he was alive too.

Dude's a huge fag living in a shitty town.

First, Catcher in the Rye was an incredible book. You're all just mad that you couldn't color in it.

Second, the sequel has been banned and according to a review I just read it's absolute shit.

i stand by my hatred for this book. Literature reached perfection with the Boxcar Children series.

To each their own.

xmikex was yelling huge and loud on this side while we're shouting scrawny and faggy on the other.

Didn't his manuscript for the followup vanish in a suspicious fire?

What's to hate about Catcher in the Rye? The only minor problem I had was that I had so many different expecations, what with murderers carrying it around. But that was also part of the greatness. You're just waiting for this kid to freak the fuck out and kill someone but he never does.

I just finished Nine Stories. "Teddy" especially is fantastic.

Everything the dude writes (wrote) is wonderful. Master of conversation. With himself, anyway.
