DEATHAMPHETAMINE – This is definitely the most metal-sounding shit I’ve plucked from the review bin thus far. Straight up death metal with a strong grindcore and crust influence, with cover art showing mutants duking it out amidst toxic waste. Heavy. This is good stuff, and the lyrics are pretty right on as well, anti-capitalist and political in some songs and straight science fiction in others. I like it, maybe you will too. Thanks for putting us on this show! I remember listening to an insult cassete in highschool with a hand drawn picture of a mace on the cover. That one was lost in the sands of time along with my green DYS cassette and my grey SSD cassette from when Taang! did those re-releases in the 90's. I still have the red poison idea "kings of punk" tape though.

Insult from Boston was a short-lived powerviolence band. They released a split with Anal Cunt. Both bands feature a life performance on this split. US Insult have more traditional hardcore sound without death metal influence. Also they released split with Ruido and LP called “I Wanna Be a Burn Victim” (1997).

Insult was considered one of the fastest and tightest live bands in the world. Screaming vocals with a vicious H/C attack guitar sound and a very talented rhythm section made the live shows great, The bands approach was a very lean musical style with a great sense of humor (very Un PC) with songs like Sometimes I Wish I Was Retarded and Being Crippled Is No Excuse kept Insult at an arms length
Insult (us) was formed in late 1991. Derek vox & guitar Mike drums Speedy bass
Insult played over 500 live shows all over the USA.
Insult shows were extremely brutal and tight.
In 1997 Seth Putnam took over playing bass after Speedy left to pursue a career as a hypnotherapist (fag).
After burning down a venue in Massachusetts Insult had trouble booking live shows locally.
Insult has played with some legendary bands , Angry Samoans, Gang Green, The Freeze, Psycho, Anal Cunt, Fat Albert Junk yard gang etc.
They also hope you go blind.

Rampant Decay is a fast metallic hardcore band based in Somerville, Massachusetts. It's made up of past and present bands as It Will End In Pure Horror, Self Abuse, Cold Northern Vengeance, Noosebomb and Gorehammer. They have their first release, 'Antisocial Deathmarch', with cover art by Brian Livoti of Watchmaker.

it depends on where you live. I couldn't find that many places in union square to put them up, but i did davis, porter, and union yesterday. I did Inman, central, newbury street, and berklee today. I am on a mission to flyer everything that I can reach on my bike.

fucked around with a peavey ultra 120 (green era) and decided that while it was awesome, I still like my cockbag expensive Randall rm100 better.
This flyer is now on my wall. Getting to play with Insult is such a big deal for me personally. I can't wait for this.

Me: Awesome!
Regrets=fucking awesome. Everyone else slayed, but they were the highlight of the night. Rich Horror did NOT try to have sex with me, nor did he even try to make out with me, so all in all it was a good time.
I learned last night that the new Composted shirts will feature the word "khed", making Skater Jon the most influential person on RTTP that has never posted on RTTP.
