Smartbomb: they sounded a lot like kid dynamite vocalwise. Sort of an odd note to start off on. One of the guitar players broke a string and I thought that was going to put a pause in their set. No such luck. They were straight through with only one brief pause. I set up 2 off camera flashes that are working pretty well. I got the drummer nicely and the guitarist (who broke a string) jumping
Cruel hand just ruled. anyone going to the acacia strain show is in for a treat. The temperature in the room went up a lot while they played. Probably cause of people actually moshing. For the second band in a row, stage left guitar had an issue and had to switch. Haunted side of the stage I would say. Still, is all turned out for the best. Note to self, put their album on your ipod ok. I kept messing up with the multiple flash settings. Hope I didn't blind anyone. It worked extremely well for cruel hand's set.
the new songs that reign supreme played are probably the best things they have ever done. there was one with an awesome double bass part at the beginning that is probably savage on the CD. they had plenty of people singing along with the older tracks too.
A loss for words: funny that when they started up, the crowd fills in in the front. No horseshoe of protection. Their set was sing along greatness. They had maximum people in front of the stage and a medium amount of stage diving. Still, the crowd response was stellar.

some of the pics of 'mom and pop' in the back of the stage are funny
