I have been desperately trying to find a venue for July 11th for Oak & Bone from Syracuse, I believe their myspace is myspace.com/oakandbone for like 4 months. I got nothing.

Where else can we do this show? I'm running out of ideas. I'll take any valid suggestion at this point.

Well, I've tried 13 venues so far, and I need a place where I can promote this more than just on the internet.

So far I think United Front Co might be the winner, gotta solidify it today.

Yeah, I live in Slummerville so Revere is close enough, and I know bands in Revere that could bring out a few people.

We def need a good system for hooking up touring bands like we had like 5 years ago. TTOS never had a problem getting a venue and a show for bands from out of state and now all those places and promoters are gone. Tour network FTW.

Yeah, it is getting tough to find easy/cheap stops for touring bands. What's United Front all about?

Great place. It's an artist "jump-off" and a hip-hop freespace. It's on Squire St in Revere and is run by this artist named OrYon. It's half a gallery / local hip-hop record store and half a performance space with couches and stuff.

Capacity is about 50-60 people I'd say. Last time we did a show there attendance was very poor which is a shame because this place is actually really great and has a basement feel to it, despite it being cleaner and more professional.

I think a 3 band show there would be perfect and it's far enough from neighbors that sound isn't an issue if the show doesn't run too late.

The door is 50% house / 50% performers.

They also have a recording studio, their own PA, and do compilations like Jason TA does.

The other draw back from UFC, aside from the really poor attendance we had last time, is that there is artwork on the walls that can't be moved and everyone has to make sure they don't damage.

The pros are that it's a door split, it's very flexible, it's a cool space, and it's right off of Rte 60, Rte 16, Rte 1, and I think 93 is nearby.

I agree that setting up shows has changed alot.. UF sounds rad
