It's definitely swedish. I like it though.

Why Swedish -- does it have a guitar tone reminiscent of a bumblebee trapped in a coffee can (Entombed, Dismember, etc.)?

Don't get me wrong, I like me some Swede death metal.

They are from Sweden, I think that's why he mentioned that.

It does have that tone to a degree. I, for one, think that tone is pretty fun. Unlike a lot of Swede death metal, this has some serious thrash influence. I can dig it.
