UNHOLY: full stream of upcoming album ‘New Life Behind Closed Eyes’ available at Lambgoat.com!

(Los Angeles, CA) May 4th, 2009 - The Syracuse, NY based metal act UNHOLY and their label Prosthetic Records are pleased to announce that New Life Behind Closed Eyes will be up streaming in its entirety on Lambgoat.com starting on Tuesday, May 5th. This gives fans and newcomers an entire week to listen to the full album before it is released on Tuesday, May 12th. And what better place to offer a full stream then Lambgoat.com, seeing as the UNHOLY’s debut release, Blood of the Medusa, was released through Lambgoat Records back in 2007. Check out New Life Behind Closed Eyes HERE and don’t forget to catch the raw intensity and blistering live set that UNHOLY delivers as they tour across the US with Earth Crisis and Walls of Jericho, which kicked off Saturday May 2nd in Fredericksburg, VA.

Here’s what guitarist Jonathan Dennison has to say about the full stream of the band’s upcoming release New Life Behind Closed Eyes; “Just when we thought we escaped Lambgoat, the home of NO CARE EVER!

Now you get to take the first peak at our new record, two years since our Lambgoat debut. We can't wait to hear the feedback from some of the most creative posters on the internet."

The follow-up to 2007's Blood of the Medusa (Lambgoat Records), New Life Behind Closed Eyes was recorded at Syracuse's Moresound Studios (ED GEIN) and sees new vocalist Billy Price paint a scathing portrait of mankind's failures and shortcomings. The album's concept, written by Dennison, revolves around an end-time narrative of the final days of humanity delivered by its own hand. Richly detailed artwork furthers the album's unsettling mood, but ultimately, it's the music within -- a very heavy take on the northeastern metal sound, with strong riffs, intense vocals and sharp soloing -- that makes UNHOLY impossible to ignore.

New Life Behind Closed Eyes features the following track listing:

1. Seeker Immortal (currently streaming)

2. Children of Eternal Sleep

3. These Wounds Never Heal

4. Into The Flesh Of Another

5. The Blinding Light

6. Look To The Blood

7. No Faith

8. The Followers

9. Behind The Veil Of Darkness

10. New Life Behind Closed Eyes

*please note that tracks being streamed are at a lower quality to help protect the band’s music

Here’s what press has had to say about the album so far:

“Syracuse, New York’s UNHOLY unleashes a variety of heavy hitting attacks all bundled up into one big knockout punch! The raw, aggressive, loud, and in your face message that UNHOLY spreads to the masses is done with such power and authority that it’s hard not to chant along… Simply put, UNHOLY delivers the heat and is not backing down.” SMNnews.com

“Holding nothing back, New Life Behind Closed Eyes is a bruising record with antagonized vocals, monster riffs, concrete breakdowns and ill-tempered intentions” Frantik Magazine

“New Life Behind New Eyes is more often than not worthy of wrecked necks and bloody knuckles.” Blabbermouth.net

“Unholy are a force to be reckoned with! New Life Behind Closed Eyes is a pounding metallic masterpiece. With the release of this, their latest disc, the metal world will never be the same.” Pure Grain Audio.com

“Have you ever experienced a musical beat down? That's exactly what you will get when Unholy's new album, New Life Behind Closed Eyes, hits streets on May 12th, 2009… Unholy's sound is comparable to bands like Soilwork, Lamb of God, and Entombed. This is straight up American metal.” Premonitions of Death.net

“…this album is one of the most intense albums I’ve heard to date and the overall quality is excellent… I suggest it to any metal fan out there!” Rock In Review.com
