Anyone else going to this? Kinda curious how the House Of Blues will handle Gwar and Cattle Decapitation!

Also, is it me or is Priestess kinda random with this lineup? I mean, Cattle Decapitation and Gwar have enough in common for it to make a little sense, but a stoner rock/metal band?

they dont really seem to fit any of their tours...or maybe they just fucking suck. yup, i think thats it.

The Opeth/Enslaved got out around 11:30ish, though that was just two bands. Not sure how it's going to play out with three bands...

the providence show started at 8:30 and ended at midnite. Gwars set was long. Second best set I seen from them out of 6 tries. The very first NEHMF that they headlined 10 years ago or whatever was the best.

cattle decatation - sucked live. sounded weak. bored.
preistess - first time checking them out. they where a little out of place but really fucking good. if you like stoner rock/metal with a little thrashness
gwar - killed it. the last few songs before the encore where a bit sloppy but who cares.

I still haven't showered.

Holy fucking shit. That was great. I haven't had that much fun in the pit in ages. Great show. A good mix of people there. The setlist was well picked, and GWAR are always entertaining to watch. Awesome.
