I was bored earlier yesterday so I added a few shows to your Events section. We need to get that feed going between our sites so we both have the latest shows!
that's what I said!
I already have all the db's set up so all you need is an RSS feeder with chaching so you don't hit my site every single time someone loads your page. Let's converse tonight. what time are you showing up to the show?
Probably right about doors. I haven't worked on my site in weeks for coding that shows section, but I can set everything up once I get the time for it. Probably next week would be good
Yeah I'm writing in PHP so we can work it out fine. I've been focusing mostly on admin-type stuff with AJAX just to make adding shows easier on my end and setting up better transactions for adding shows. I'd rather have that down really well before exposing it to the public like you have with your show adder.
isolation was awesome. I love shows where the opening band gets a killer reaction. some kid even got his ear ripped off. they were grovey hardcore. the bassist really had some good parts. very notable when his pedal cut out.
pitfall continually had two more song to play. this fooled me the first time they sid it so I tossed on my fish eye for their "last two songs" which spanned 6 songs, including a cover of hard times. they audience was happy.
ignorance was excellent. even with their bass issues. their 2 best songs are photo-holocaust and syke-101. when they played photo-holocaust and sent it would to dan(futurebreed), he observed a moment of silence. well, a song of the flashless, meaning he kept his camera quiet. I personally deny that the photo-holocaust every even happened. seriously, all those pixels burnt in that short of a time? it would be impossible. the one thing that really sucked about their set is that it's their drummer's last show. that means I probably won't be seeing them for a while.
a loss for words: fun set. I remember when I didn't understand them. they played a couple old songs, some songs of an acustic CD that they have (i didn't know about it), a movielife cover, and one song off a new releases.
The carrier: the set was fairly epic, but almost all of the members' straps failed at one point or another. These guys have equipment that looks like their music sounds. Desolate sounding music, delatidated equipment, despair, detroit, decline. A couple of those cabs, I would hit with a hammer to try to put out of their misery. The coolest thing was hearing songs that I was listening to earlier in the day. Great stuff. Lots of random stage divng.
Death before dishonor before hammer brothers. Their set was fun, but standing behind the cabs, all I could hear were the drums. Speaking of, josh (hammer bros drummer) filled in for their set and he frigging ruled. Played perfect and loud even after cutting his hand during the 2nd song and bleeding non-stop for the whole set. It is great that they are practicing/recording in allston. I see most of the ban at least once a week at some random show. During the end of their set, every looked up and saw chris baldwin on top of the crowd. There were a lot of people singing along. Otherwise tha would have been an event where people's life flashes before their eyes.

It was funny noticing the change of scenery when they went one, bunch of different kids were downstairs.
This show reminded me how i need to go to the gym moar.
Naw I did some pics during Photo Holocaust, but mostly I was trying to catch the lyrics. Some amusing ones in there. I'm curious which girl you said that's based off of. Oh well, both times I've shot Ignorance lately, I've had the song sent out to me, which probably means they should remove my photos from their Myspace or something before they consider themselves clever
Waiting for pics to load. Bored as shit. Isolation was awesome at this show... Ignorance had a pretty good set, and I agree that Photo is turning into one of their best live songs. Can't wait to hear some new Death Before Dishonor tracks this summer.... Was talking to Bryan after the show, and he got me psyched on the new record
