Yea blood duster was good back in the day, but they've always been kinda meh to me when compared to bands like Undinism, Disgorge, or Warsore, or even The Kill. Fuck...I'm Dead was good as well, and of course Decomposing Serenity (though totally different styles.)
Yeest and Str8 outta Northcote do kick some ass though. Cunt is OK, I used to love it but listening recently didn't do much for me. After that they got stupid.
Blood Duster definitely has that fake rock star ethos about them which isn't really funny or clever, it's just dumb. I would lump this band into the same category as Phobia and say both of those bands are to grind as hair metal is to metal as a whole. I don't hate either of those bands by any means, just think they're overrated.
The best thing Phobia ever did was that 'return to desolation' ep with the Fear Factory drummer which was almost more of a death metal release than anything else.
