in dire need and burial were fucking awesome......the rest of the bands pretty much sucked but the bands I came to see were worth the toal of three hour driving time.....thanks to the in dire need merch dude who gave me a deal on the shirt and the sick as sin ticket........ |
|
I'm back, pictures are uploading.
long drive. |
|
fun night
burial was sick, though i heard they were making fun of us through-out our entire set.
no surprise there, we're silly.
good bands, good times. except for NFA, they can EMA(eatmyass) |
|
decent show. i coulda sworn it was $8 though.
NFA - missed em. later on in the show, the singer with the sweet bandana on his head thought it would be a great idea to throw his beer on my friend who was dancing at the time. retard.
came during the end of marybeth's set. sounded ok. kinda run-of-the-mill, then again i didnt get to hear more than 1.5 songs. they seemed well recieved by the crowd, though.
next band...dispute? ...yeah.
6 bfyc - the singer needs to not be so angry and maybe people won't yell things like "shut up retard" or "get off the stage." 2nd time seeing em and i dont remember hearing that many two-step parts when i first saw 'em. they seem to have the standard issue hardcore thing down.
in dire need - verrrry tight performance in my opinion. truth be told - microphones are delicious.
burial - didnt stay.
in conclusion - snow is gay and springfield sucks. |

NFA: they where missing one of their guitarist. the lead one. one of their songs sounded pretty good, but was missing some great riffs over it. they had dual singers, but I'm not sure why.
marybeth: another girl named band from western mass? At first they had some metalcore with the singer doing daul highies and lows. then there was one of those clean parts (the kind that make the singer sit down). Chalked full of 'The break downs' and there was a fight at the end. the security pulled some guy out.
dispute: from the name, I thought it was going to be punk. but it was more like log with a bunch of breakdowns. I think they were playing their demo right after they got off.
six bullet for your crew: weird they had a lot more 2-step parts last time. also weird that leone was talking about finding out who they were and then this time, he's singing for them. the vocals weren't too bad, like a dry hc scream. and the catch phrases "I wanna see blood on the walls!".
in dire need: so tight and this time with 100% more samples played by aaron-cupcake. some girl with burial got pulled out for fighting. might had been the one that was yelling out "I want burial".
burial: they played great even though the singer didn't have the long hair to flip over. the mosh croud was mostly idn kids. it was hillarious watching them. |
|
i swear to god burial is the most professional band ever.
can i get a g - o - n - g
GONG! |

burial were fucking fantastic,,,it was great seeing them get such a good response from the crowd |
|

Nick from burial here, Don't know who gave you the impression that we were making fun of idn?? If it wasn't for IDN we would have had no pit at all. Period. You guys were sick, a total surprise actually, very cool material, I was worried about death metal, and hard core in the same show but everything worked out pretty well. Thanks again for sticking around, anytime you want to do some shows just let me know. Support IDN at the sick as sin fest, that will be nuts. Good luck out in lowell!! |

thanks man, after we had finished some friends and even some people we didn't know came up to us and said they had overheard some of your members talking a lot of guff about us during our set. Though we beleived them with much skepticism(not hearing it ourselves), we just let it slide.
you guys played great though, very tight. hope to see you again.

yeah i am the drummer coc never hd but its cool in any case im happy that kids liked us i mean thats what means the world to me and you know what fuck it i dont care what anyone has to say about my band i like it they like it if someone whos not in the band doesnt tough shit as far as being pissed off onstage last i checked i was in a hardcore band i mean for the most part i think that kind of tends to have pissed off people as memebers sorry i wasnt posi or emo onstage but i was around before it was cool to be nice to everyone and act all emotional and cry over dumb shit so if i pissed anyone else off so be it its not my fault that i dont like to style my hair and wear pretty clothes like im a chick |
